About Udo Lange
Dr. Udo Lange is the Chief Executive Officer at Stolt-Nielsen (SNI.OL) & Chairman of the Board at Freightos (CRGO).
Udo Lange joined Stolt-Nielsen Limited as Chief Executive Officer in 2023 and have +20 years of experience in the international trade industry, with expertise in global freight forwarding, road freight, express & parcel, shipping, customs brokerage, contract logistics, bulk liquids transportation & storage, LNG bunkering, airline catering, Logtech, fish farming and venture capital.
Oslo listed Stolt-Nielsen (SNI.OL) is a leader in global liquid logistics and premium aquaculture. They operate in 30 countries on 6 continents with 7000 team members. Udo also held senior executive roles with FedEx, Lufthansa, Deutsche Post DHL, Exel and DB Schenker.
In Aug 2025 he was elected as non-executive Chairman of Nasdaq listed Freightos (CRGO), the leading digital platform in the cargo space, connecting customers, forwarders and carriers to simplify trade.
In 2015, Udo joined FedEx, where he held several senior positions, including president of Healthcare, Logistics and Americas International at FedEx Express until August 2023. He was responsible for the enterprise-wide healthcare business as well as FedEx Express Americas International, FedEx Logistics and FedEx Custom Critical. He led +50.000 team members in +80 countries on 6 continents. He was a member of the Strategic Management Committee of FedEx Corp., which sets the strategic direction for the FedEx enterprise. During Covid he was appointed as core member of the White House task force on supply chain disruption.
Udo hold a Ph.D. in economic science from the University of Duisburg and an MBA from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and a member of the WSJ CEO Council & the Arts Club of London. Previously he served as Vice Chair of the International Institute of Reconstruction (IIRR) and was on the board of the German American Chamber of Commerce South as well as the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO).
In 2020 he was honored to be named a ‘Top 10 Logistics Leaders’ globally by Supply Chain Digital, the industry’s leading magazine.
