Update as of 11/28/16: We are in the final week! Remember, we have changed our venue for TechCon2016 taking place on December 6th 2016. We know that you are scheduled to attend this event (as an attendee, vendor, and/or sponsor) and we wanted to make sure you were aware of the new venue.

This event will now be held at The Convene at 32 Old Slip. This is a beautiful venue with state of the art technology. We apologize if this causes any inconvenience but we can assure you that this is an upgrade and improvement all around. And we needed a bigger space!

We are looking forward to having you exhibit at the Convene on December 6th. Below is more information for exhibitors including shipping instructions. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Exhibit Hall Details:
We are very excited to have the Convene as a venue for this event because it has excellent exhibit space. We will be creating an exhibit map and sending it out at the end of next week.

Exhibitors are allowed to begin setting up for the event at 7:30am on December 6th. Your booth will be equipped with a 6’ x 18” table and two chairs (unless you have requested additional furniture or amenities). If you will need access to an electrical outlet, please let me know as soon as possible, if you have not done so already. Please also let us know who from your organization will be attending the event.


Shipping Instructions:
If you will be shipping items to the venue, please let me know so that we can expect the delivery.

On every box/item, the following details must be included:
NYDLA TechCon – 12/6/16
Your company name

All items should arrive by Monday, December 5th. I highly suggest tracking your packages to confirm arrival.

If you are not shipping items and will be needing the loading dock/freight entrance or sending a messenger, we will need to coordinate this with the venue. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange this and give you more specific instructions.

If you will need to ship items from the venue after the event, please bring shipping labels for any items that will need to be sent back. When the event has ended, you can leave your items with shipping labels at your exhibit table.

Networking Game:
Upon arrival at TechCon, attendees will receive an index card with each exhibitor listed on it. Each registrant is encouraged to visit every booth where they will collect a sponsor’s signature. Participants who have signatures from all booths will turn in their game cards at the registration desk for a chance to win a $1000 prize.

Our new location opens up opportunities for our out of town guests to tour Wall Street, Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, and other venues that are within “walking tour” distance. NYDLA vendor Spacious will also provide day passes for any of our out of town guests who need to get some work done while in town. The evening of December 6th shall also be (first of our two) NYDLA Christmas / Holiday parties at One World Trade Center so we hope that you can stay in town for the evening of the 6th for dinner and cocktails.

TechCon2015 was our biggest event of 2015 and this year TechCon2016 is set to be even bigger with many Fortune 1000 attendees. I would begin preparing a “follow up / nice to meet you” email that can be sent out to all TechCon attendees. It is a great way to finish the year strong, and fill the sales funnels with leads for Q1 2017! We expect 500+ to attend live, and 3,500+ to join us via HD Video.

Some Housekeeping:
If you will speaking on one of our panels, we need your headshot picture and your short bio for our event brochure no later than end of business 11/18/16.

We need camera ready logos also no later than 11/18/16. We shall have “pop up” displays throughout the venue, and iPad kiosks to visit the NYDLA landing pages of our various vendor/sponsors. If you have an iPad or tablet, bring it! Nothing like instant sign-ups for newsletters or requests for more information. We are geo-tracking all activity so we shall know it was a “show special” if the show attendees sign up on the spot.

If you plan on supplying any “show special” discounts for your various products and services, please contact to make sure that we coordinate this on our websites.

If you need assistance with travel or overnight accommodations please contact and let us know how many days / how many guests plan on being in town.
